Program Director

Sara Provence, LMFT

I am here to help facilitate your transformation journey. When needs go unmet and issues go unresolved, they continue to infest and entangle our day-to-day well-being.  I believe that therapy is a powerful tool that can assist individuals to reach their full potential through unlocking old patterns that prohibit growth. My goal is to provide a safe space to meet you where you are and help you get where you want to go.

I am trauma-informed, operate through the lens of social and racial justice and am committed to providing person-centered care. I have worked with a wide array of individuals struggling with challenges including: perfectionism, imposter syndrome, anxiety, depression, trauma and life transitions. Though these labels may inform treatment, they in no way define an individual.

Some of the modalities I pull from include person-centered, psychodynamic, narrative, CBT and systems. I have dedicated a significant amount of my practice to working with womxn, TAY youth and those within the LGBTQIA+ community. I believe each patient deserves an individualized approach that fits their needs.

For those who may have felt “stuck” with traditional forms of therapy, or just curious, I am also a certified ketamine-assisted psychotherapist, through PRATI (Psychadelic, Research and Training Institute). Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP), integrates the use of medical-grade psychedelics in tandem with traditional therapy, to allow for a deeper dive and has the potential to create sustainable shifts.

I look forward to the opportunity to meet, explore options and potentially build an authentic and collaborative relationship.
